The Journey Back to Earth- The Earthing Process
I've mostely been writing about cryptids, folklore tales and conspiracy theories. Today however, I'll be writing about my still ongoing-journey back to Earth, with a dash of conspiracy theory.
For those who doesn't know, Earting is about reconnect to Mother Earth. It's about walking barefoot on the ground, feel the soil beneath your feet, feel the low vibrational hum of Mother Earth. It's about understanding and knowing that you are part of this beautiful planet and the cosmos.
As children, being one with nature comes more easily, we more often run barefoot, play in the fields, touch the grass, hugs the trees, even if we grow up in an aparment in a city. We hang around playgrounds, parks and other green areas. But as we grow older, many of us loose the connection to Earth due to modern life styles. It's note by chance, it's by design.
The modern lifestyle in cities, concrete houses, asphalt streets and highly processed foods are made to keep us disconnected, scattered and lost. If we follow the money - (always follow the money)- we find big industries and politicians that thrive off our disconnectedness. They make big bucks out of this and tend to keep it that way.
At the top, there are people that doens't care about Earths wellbeing, your wellbeing or the wellbeing of society. They want us to stay disconnected and to consume more than what's reasonable. They don't want us to be grounded, to feel Mother Earth or to change our ways. They don't want us to eat healthy, to be attuned to Mother Earth or to know our sacred ways or sacred teachings. They don't want us to care about eath other or to be at peace. They want us to live in the chaos thay've created, to live segrigated and in fear. They want us as their puppets on strings. Those people are the parasites on Mother Earths membrane. The climate changes are the symptoms of a parasite infection.
However, there have always been people questioning the system, revolting against the parasites. People that are actively working on reclaiming their roots, their heritage and the connection to Earth, Cosmos and Life. We may not be many, but it doesn't matter how many we are, what matters is that someone is doing something to create a change, no matter hos small that action is.
I have on and off reclaimed my heritage, walked my spiritual and cosmic path, as well as on and off tried the modern life in a city. However, both my child and I feel that it doens't give us anything benificial to live in a city, to always buy stuff and mindless consumtion. People and noise everywhere, pollution, no stars and little to no wildlife. We feel sick, unharmonized and disconnected from ourselves. Therefore we are more determined to once and for all, together with many other people, reclaim our connection to Mother Earth.
It's easy to feel discuraged and frustrated in the reclaimng-process. The citylife has programmed us into expecting fast and easy access to things like stores, busses, trains, dental - and health care (in Scandiavia at least). No time for waiting. Boredom is bad, always stay stimulated, high on dompanine and suger.
As a part of our journey, my childs' and mine, we have had to make sacrifices. I have had to give up parts of my freedom as a part-time worker, to a full-time-job. I don't like working full-time, I despise spending so much time of my life doing bullshit stuff. It nearly broke my mind thinking about all the precious hours wasting away in an office. However, by changing my mindset, and using my job as a tool in order to be able to buy a house, makes it more managable.
I know I don't have to stay on a full-time job forever- it's a choise. I just need to stay long enough in order to get what we want: a house far out in the countryside. The house will then be the base of which we continue our path back to nature by producing as much of our own food as possible, as well as lessen our dependence on Big State/Big Food & C:o as much as possible.
I know that there are many people that don't feel that they can afford working part-time nor can afford the "luxery" of choise. And part of that is true. The system doesn't want you to feel that you have a choice. It want's you to feel stuck, trapped and lost.
But we always have a choice. I had the choice of continuing the same path and have the same results. That wasn't toleratable. I could also make the hard desicion of giving up something of outmost importance to me: my time together with my child, here on Earth. A sacrifice of short term annoyance and sadness for a long term beneficial housing and reconnecting to Mother Earth-project. It had to be the latter. So here I am working a dreaded full-time job and downsizing consumption so I can fullfill the dream- and need- for a house, space and Nature.
Antoher part of the journey is to do some real, actual Earthing. We have moved away from the concrete djungle we lived in before, to a lesser concrete djungle. We are still living in an apartment compelx- which we don't reall like-, but we are also getting closer to nature this way. There's greenery right outside the apartment, trees, flowers and a joyfully unkept lawn.
It's easier to reconnect to Earth if she's more available. So ever since we moved here three weeks ago, I'm working on getting my feet dirty, feeling the grass between my toes as mcuh as possible and plocking gravel that are getting stuck in the skin underneath my feet.
As I walked barefoot today, a thought crossed my mind: when do I know I'm fully grounded? How does one know for sure, that one is actually grouded? I had to look it up, and I didn't really get any good answers. And no, I don't use AI to look that up. All I found online was different Earthing techniques, but nothing about how you know that you are grounded. I then asked for spritual guidance in the matter, and got the information that if one feel satisfied with their time in nature for the day, then they are grounded. If one still feel a bit disatisfaction, a tad bit disconnected, then you're not fully cooked yet.
So I guess I'm not fully cooked yet. Still got some Earthing to do. But I aslo have chores in the home to do, and love to spend some time with my beloved child, so the Earthing Process will continue tomorrow, one barefoot step at the time.
Have a wonderful day.
